KITCHENS

Our kitchens are mostly made from granite and marble, we advise the most suitable materials for each kitchen to suit our clients lifestyle. Granites are hard wearing and the preferred choice of most of our clients.

BATHROOMS

We make and fit bathroom surfaces, including shower rooms and vanity tops, granite and marble are both suitable materials, marble being the most popular choice for bathrooms, with the option to use “book matched slabs on larger areas.

FIREPLACES

We supply and fit a range of beautiful portland and bath stone fireplaces. These can be customised in size and detail. Portland and bath stone are ideal materials for fireplaces and will suit both period and modern interiors.

RESTORATION

We source stone for restoration projects and provide a bespoke carving & lettering service.

THE PROCESS

We will visit to take accurate measurements of your work surfaces, advise regarding the right material and choice of colour options. You can visit our factory, see samples of the materials available and gain in house colour advice. It is useful if you bring samples of tiles and wall colours ifyou have already chosen them. We will show you edge detail options and discuss join positions,features and cut-outs for hobs, sinks, taps etc. Where available, small samples are provided to assist you in the process of making your choice. Wewill recommend the most suitable choice to suit your needs.If you are looking for a particularly unusual and unique granite.

1. QUOTE

We will supply quotes by email, over the phone or in person. You will need to send over a plan of your project or the basic dimensions.

2. PHYSICAL TEMPLATE

Once your slab(s) have arrived at our workshop, you may be asked to view it if it is a highly patterned material and you have not chosen it from supplier stock. Our stonemasons then cut and make the worktops. To avoid stress fractures in natural materials, we set stainless steel reinforcing into the underside of each worktop. Our worktops are all hand finished and sealed. We generally complete manufacture well within one week after the template date. .

3. MAKING AND FINISHING

Once your slab(s) have arrived at our workshop, you may be asked to view it if it is a highly patterned material and you have not chosen it from supplier stock.

Our stonemasons then cut and make the worktops. To avoid stress fractures in natural materials, we set stainless steel reinforcing into the underside of each worktop. Our worktops are all hand finished and sealed. We generally complete manufacture well within one week after the template date.

4. FITTING

Worktops are fitted within one day unless otherwise stated. All joins are sealed and colour matched and sinks and hobs are fitted. We do not connect water or gas or fit taps, these should be handled by your plumber and gas fitter once the worktops are in place. We will provide information as to the durability, stain resistance, scratch resistance and general maintenance of each product choice along with the warranty information where applicable. .
